hiya,

i think this post hits the nail on the head, but am
uncertain of how to proceed. does anyone on these
lists have a line to the nlg so we could get regular
updates?

IMC KEEP US UPDATED ON ARRESTEES DURING RNC PROTESTS  
             
IMC and others:
 
 The number of arrestees and prolonged holding
incommunicado creates the most serious responsibility
the IMC has ever faced as a media organization. Please
take this seriously!
 
 Keep everyone posted until ALL arrestees are
accounted for! Keep the pressure with Front Page
articles and updates. Let people know where they can
call for information and who to call.
 
 Many protestors came from out of town for the RNC
events. As they go home, many may forget others left
behind, don't let this happen! The illegal detentions
and trumped up charges are only part of what will be
experienced should this administration manage to hold
on to power another four more years. 
 
 RNC coverage by the IMC has been excellent and
everyone who participated can be assured those of us
who were not able to attend are appreciative of being
able to read updates on the internet. We are in
solidarity with those who were unfortunate enough to
be arrested. Please continue to provide this coverage.
