[IMC-NYC-Editorial] duplicate articles on your website

A search on your website

http://nyc.indymedia.org/mod/search/dosearch/index.php?dosearch=1&author=kolskegg

finds several duplicate articles:

http://nyc.indymedia.org/newswire/display_any/9593
http://nyc.indymedia.org/newswire/display_any/9628

and

http://nyc.indymedia.org/newswire/display_any/14349
http://nyc.indymedia.org/newswire/display_any/17271

These particular articles are of rather central importance in explaining
the current world situation, so it would be convenient if there were a
single, unambiguous URL for each one that could be provided as a
reference. I believe that they were originally posted on the Boston
Indymedia site, but they have since disappeared from there and your site
is the only alternative source I have found which offers all three of
the series. Please advise me as to why these are duplicated and which
URLs should be preferred.

I also wonder if it would be possible to provide a link on articles
which would produce the HTML code for just that article, without all the
extra markup for menus, comments, external links, etc. Some sites offer
this as a "print article" option. Perhaps it's just an issue of turning
off PHP processing or server-side-includes or something like that.

Thanks for any help you can offer me with these issues.
