[IMC-NYC-Editorial] rating

Hi all,
 
The ratings were turned off because they were being abused by trolls, who managed to find ways to multiply rate an article. I'm open to turning them back on and seeing how it goes. Thoughts?
 
In this vein, I'll be coming to the print meeting tuesday to, among other things, recruit people to help with the website on a regular basis, including putting up features and doing moderation. The website has hit a new level post-rnc, but its also hit a new level in terms of trolling too. 
 
Also, I'll be taking on a few of JT's post-indy tasks, including making a center column from posted articles and i can probably do the email blast as well. Without quark I cant post the actual articles themselves. Matt Wasserman also told me a few days ago that he'd be willing to go to global indymedia with center column ideas: he knows the various personalities and politics involved.
