[IMC-NYC-Editorial] fixing the database error

The server on which nyc.indy is hosted is currently having some known 
problems (more details on request). According to the main sysadmin 
folks, the server is going to be entirely rebuilt soon; only after that 
will it be wise to change settings of this nature.

Apologies for the difficulties in the interim.
