[IMC-NYC] SUSTAINER PROGRAM for INDYMEDIA

HELLO NYC INDYMEDIA!

We are starting up a sustainer program! this means that people who
love independent media and the work we do in all of our various media,
can contribute money to us on a monthly basis via the internet, or via
snail mail.

This is a very exciting thing because it means that
1. we can sustain NYC Indymedia and grow.
2. we can devote more time to creating media and less time toward
raising/worring about money
3. Alumni, friends and family will have a way of being involved with
indymedia, even if they have no time.

We will be launching a new donations page soon that allows people to
buy videos, posters, teeshirts and donate once or on a monthly basis.

If you are interested in working on building out our sustainer base we
could use the help, the following things need to be done;
1. research/compile contact information
2. brainstorm people we should contact
3. write and mail personalized letters to potential sustainers
4. help with long-term up keep of program
5. other tasks.
