Event Description:
The Foster Care Council of Canada will
hold a raffle to randomly pick a name out of a box of names of people
who donated $100.00 or more to the Ride for Accountability of
Children's Aid Societies which is a bicycle ride from Windsor to Ottawa
Ontario to raise awareness of the need for increased transparency and
accountability of Children's Aid Societies in Ontario.

Dates of Ride:
July 01 - August 01, 2010:
The bicycle ride is planned to take place from July 01 until arrival at
it's destination which is planned to take approximately 3-4 weeks
(Windsor to Ottawa, Ontario)

Date of Raffle and Ticket Giveaway:
We will raffle off the Westjet return ticket for two -- to and from any WestJet destination as follows.

Date: September 01, 2010
How: Names of people who donated over $100.00 to RACAS will be entered into the draw. 

How Draw to Take Place:
A
video camera will record the draw for posting on our website. An
unknown volunteer will be asked to reach into a box, blind-folded, to
get a name from the box. That person will be contacted by phone or
e-mail ASAP and the ticket will be mailed or delivered by courier,
which ever is most appropriate. No Foster Care Council of Canada
volunteers or Board members will be allowed to enter the draw
regardless of their donation amounts.
