Here's a proposed Oxford feature, which I think is of enough
national relevance to be a UK feature too. Any ideas for a
better headline welcome!

Protests escalate as work resumes at primate lab

As work restarts on Oxford University's controversial new primate lab,
the protests against it are becoming bigger, noisier and more 
determined than ever. In addition to the tightly controlled weekly
Thursday demo a variety of impromptu gatherings took place, skirting
the injunction area and keeping the authorities on their toes.

Meanwhile Oxford University are still avoiding an open public debate
on vivisection.
