Agreed. That sounds reasonable.

Um, I don't know Debb, and I don't know if you know her, Richard. So I
would like a consensus that Debb should be made a moderator.

I'm not sure that it's really quite right to make someone a moderator
just so that they can add events of one particular type to the Oxford
calendar (although I have done this once before, I don't think we should
let it become customary). Note that there is no such thing as an
Oxford moderator, and that in practice ther question is whether a person
is or is not a member of the Indymedia UK editorial collective.

I appreciate that Oxford Indy has been running along highly informal
lines for at least a couple of years now, and I have no problem with
that; so I'm not pressing for a face meeting (although as usual we badly
need one). But I'd like to know who Debb is, and what kind of commitment
she has to Indymedia in general, before making her a mod. I also think
that at least one of us should have met her and be able to recognise
her. I think I owe that to the rest of the UK Kollektive.

Perhaps several of you already do know Debb. In that case, if she wants
to be a mod, and those who know her are in favour, let me know and I'll
go ahead.
