[imc-oxford-features] [Imc-oxford] Tatchell post

Dear Jennie
Maybe I shouldn't respond, as I'm rather semi-detached these days (and
currently very tired! Maybe I can't read straight).
I do find the main post pretty awful, but is it potentially libellous? I
tend to think we have to put up with stuff we don't like, unless it
clearly breaches the guidelines. It's definitely of significance to
Oxford and it's an 'original' article not a repost. It doesn't actually
recommend bumping Tatchell off. If it's merely potentially libellous, we
are quite justified in waiting till P. Tatchell asks us to take it down.
We don't have to insist that all our contributors are 'nice'. An
additional factor is that if we take down the main post, we'll also have
to hide the rest of the thread (currently 25 comments). Some of the
contributions are quite useful/thoughtful, especially Sid Phelp's one
about the African situation.
I would prefer to get a wider consensus on this before we take any
action, if you don't mind.
Cheers
Eileen
