The guidelines definitely provide grounds for hiding it:

Having said that, there is often a debate to be had about whether
it is sometimes better to leave a thread where it is if commenters
have already set things straight. Personally, in this case I don't
have strong feelings either way.

BTW We do generally need to let the UK features list:
imc-uk-features at lists.indymedia.org
...know when we hide something (as opposed to just taking it off the
local wire) because it affects the UK wire too. (cc-ing them now)

Thanks to Jen for the help; it's good having another regular newswire
