There's nothinbg to respond to; it seems that bart's email got blocked 
in moderation.  Which I don't understand, because he moderates that 
list. Whatever, Bart's email never landed anywhere except here, as a cc 
of a non-existent master message.

So neither I nor we actually have anything to reply to.

Well, we can reply to our own list if we want to. But I suspect that 
Bart has been sat upon, and that it isn't any longer an issue. My guess 
is that if there isn't an issue, we don't need to kick up any shit about 
the issue.

As far as I'm concerned, we are successful: today's the deadline, and 
there have been no (coherent) objections. I'm just waiting for JD to 
declare our glorious success.
