Relayed to the Oxford list by your local imc-uk-process liaison. Can
someone answer this for Jo? She seems to have a point. Please cc your
reply (if you make one) to imc-uk-process, even if you aren't a member -
I co-mod that list as well as the Oxford lists, and will see that it
goes through.

Dear all,
you know when you post on newswire, you can select up to 2 regions for
it to appear on. Why only 2?
For example, I tried posting the item Training for Action on 24th of
this month. It is training for activists to train others in their
locality, tov increase our general skills in a sustainable and
politically right-on way.
For this reason, it is important and relevant to activists wherever
they are in the country. Though some people, especially without a local
IMC will look at the UK newswire (& perhaps the calendar), many others
will just look at their local ones (methinks). That is why I posted it
to all the local ones. Unfortunately, as you can only select 2, it
means multiple postings in the UK newswire. However, what I've noticed
in the past, is that it the repeated UK messages can get deleted WITHOUT
deleting it from all the local ones (which instead get linked to the one
remaining on the UK list, I guess is how it works).
What do you suggest?
I don't want to have to keep posting it to local IMCs (or for someone
else from the TfA collective to do so when they notice I've not done
what I said I'd do...) - it would be frustrating and annoying for
everyone! I've asked this question before to a local IMC without any
reply. Hopefully you can reply to this address, as we're not subscribed
to your list.
Thanks, Jo
