Hello,

On the 8th October, the Chiltern Sculpture Trust are holding an open day at
the Chiltern Sculpture Trail. We hope that the day will raise public
awareness of this beautiful and interesting space that is open to everyone.

To ensure that people in the Oxfordshire area are aware of both the Open
Day and the Trail itself, we are hoping that local media will help to
spread the word about the event. If you feature a 'what's on' section and
would be able to list the open day, or if you would be interested in
covering the Trail and the open day in more depth, please do get in touch
so that I can send you more information.

Visitors to the Chiltern Sculpture Trail can explore a collection of
sculpture that is intriguing, thought-provoking and beautiful. The trail
spreads through Cowleaze Wood, providing a place where artists can create
temporary and permanent artwork stimulated by the environment, often
challenging conventional notions of art within the landscape.

The open day will be a great opportunity to experience new and existing
artwork, with artists, organisers and trustees on hand to provide tours and
to share some of the inspiration behind the trail and plans for its future.
There will also be a sculpture workshop for anyone inspired by their visit
to take part in.

For more information about the Chiltern Sculpture Trust and Trail, you can
visit our website at: http://www.chilternsculpturetrail.co.uk/ , where you
can take a virtual tour of the trail, and find out about the Trail’s
history.

For more information about the Open Day, or to speak about whether you
could help us to publicise this event, please contact me @ jlp38 at cam.ac.uk
or on 07958 750 625.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Many thanks,

Jessie Price
