[Imc-oxford] new indymedia calendar - announce your own events!

Oxford Indymedia has always had an events calendar, but until recently you
had to either find someone a login to post your event, or just hope they
noticed it and put it up themselves.

We've made a few changes, and by hosting the calendar on OARC's server we
can now easily allow anyone to announce their event instantly - just like
you can when it comes to posting articles.

Just click 'Announce Your Event' and fill in the simple events form :)

Tell your mates; the more local radicals and groups that use it the more
useful it will become. And tell us if you have any problems, or if you can
think of simple improvements we could make; we hope to go on tweaking and
improving it over time.

Hopefully, this is just a small step along the journey of rejuvenating the
Oxford indymedia collective and relaunching the site; there'll be more
about that in the new year!
