[Imc-oxford] Feature story for the OIMC meeting in August

As you may have gathered, I'm keen on promoting the OIMC meeting on 26
Aug - especially to new people like me!

I wondered if it would be possible (i.e. allowed) to have a feature in
the centre column to promote the meeting - I think that it wouldn't be
allowed under the normal guidelines, but I thought a special exception
might be made as a good meeting could give OIMC a really good boost of
energy and, hopefully, get more people (like me!) involved.

I'm happy to have a go at drafting a story. I also wondered if it would
be useful to suggest a load of questions that people might want to
respond to before the meeting. This could help form an agenda (by seeing
where the energy is) and allow people that cannot come to the meeting to
get involved (I know of at least 2 people this applies to). Here's some
questions I think it would be useful to ask:

# What do you most like about Oxford IM?
# What do you least like?
# How often do you visit OIM? How does this compare to other IMs?
# What features do you use on OIM (e.g. calendar, newswire, local
groups)? What, if anything should be changed about these features?
# What, if any, new features should be added to OIM?
# Would you be willing to be involved in OIM? If so, what tasks would
you be interested in (e.g. writing feature stories, updating content
like the groups directory, working on the tecnical aspects of OIM - or
any other skills/interests that you have that might be useful).

What do people think? (about the feature, and the questions)
