[Imc-oxford] Public Meeting of Oxford Indymedia

A public meeting of Oxford Indymedia will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday,
the 15th July at OARC (upstairs at the East Oxford Community Centre,
Princes Street, just off Cowley Road).

There is a national Indymedia Network Meeting in London the following
weekend, at which some important proposals are scheduled to be
discussed. These proposals may have significant consequences for the
future of Oxford Indymedia, and it's important that our supporters and
our users are aware of them, and have a chance to express their views.

Please come along and support your local Indymedia Collective!

At least one of us will be going to the network meeting (me), and so we
will be able to represent to the national meeting any consensus that
might emerge from Oxford concerning the proposals.

I will try to assemble a draft agenda and some supporting materials over
the next couple of days; it's unusual for us to do this in advance of
the actual meeting, but some of the proposals for the NM are quite
lengthy and complicated, and I think that on this occasion some
preparation would help the meeting conclude its business more
effectively. I will post a further message here "soon", with these
supporting materials.
