time to get going on our videofest. to start the ball rolling, here are 
several proposals.

1. title

pittsburgh indymedia presents:

video activist videofest

(a festival honoring the work of video activists from around the globe)

2. # of screenings

four screenings containing each 90-120 minutes of material. includes 
excerpts and/or complete videos.  have discussion afterwards

3. how to structure them.

- video activism historically (thurs)
(excerpts from paper tiger tv, gulf crisis tv project, testing the 
limits, not channel zero, etc.)

- war and empire (friday)
(excerpts from kilometer zero, we interrupt this empire, Lord of the 
Rings: The Twin Towers, Showdown in Seattle: Five Days that shook the 
WTO, etc.)

- the miami model (saturday)
(ftaaimc video & discussion: includes FTAAIMC video + possibly excerpts 
from other miami videos + discussion afterwords including ftaaimc video 
people & ftaa activists (e.g., poggers))

- life and liberty (sunday)
(excerpts from CRITICAL RESISTANCE: To the Prison Industrial Complex, 
dennis brutus doc, 2600: the hacker quarterly,  tENT's stuff, some 
stuff from overseas, etc. -- this section needs more research)
