[IMC-pgh-video] proposal to give $50 to indy oaxaca

i propose that pittsburgh IMC allocate $50 out of its unrestricted  
funds to make a donation to indy oaxaca, specifically their video  
collective, which has been cranking out some excellent stuff this  
week. they need money for video tape and hard drives.

by "unrestricted funds" i'm referring to individual donations that  
have been given to pgh imc without restrictions. one example of an  
unrestricted fund that we probably still have in our account the  
unsolicited $50 donation that ken miller from PASCA gave us after the  
all star game.  the sprout fund grant for rustbelt radio & tv is  
obviously an example of the opposite  -- i.e., a "restricted fund".

i've cc'd the radio & tv collectives' lists - but discussion about  
this proposal should probably take place on the discuss list.

of course, we haven't done anything like this in a while so if folks  
have a better idea for process please chime in.

the mechanics of giving to indy oaxaca would be through  
friendsofbradwill.org, which, among other things, is an effort to  
help raise $ for oaxaca-related needs. (i happen to be involved with  
that effort.)
