[IMC-Process] IP-Logging and POU [en]/[de]

Hello,

we support the proposal by IMC Nantes [1] and IMC Northern England [2] but we 
think we should extend POU 4 rather than introduce a POU 11:

4. All IMCs, based upon the trust of their contributors and readers, shall 
utilize open web based publishing, allowing individuals, groups and 
organizations to express their views, anonymously if desired.  To ensure 
privacy and anonymity, the logging of information about users shall be kept to 
the minimum. The logging of internet protocol (IP) information about users 
shall be kept to the minimum necessary to maintain control over the server 
(i.e. in the event of an attack). In the event that logging is necessary, 
details of the logging shall be made publicly accessible, including duration 
of logging, what information was stored, and actions taken as result of the 
logging. Collectives are encouraged to have a public policy on IP logging.

Hallo,

wir unterstützen den Vorschlag von IMC Nantes [1] und IMC Northern England 
[2], aber wir denken, dass es besser ist POU 4 zu erweitern statt eine POU 11 
einzuführen:

4. Alle IMCs sollen auf Vertrauensbasis mit allen ihrer Mitwirkenden und 
LeserInnen Veröffentlichungen in Form von „open web publishing“ betreiben, 
welches Einzelpersonen, Gruppen und Organisationen erlaubt ihre Ansichten 
darzustellen - auch anonym wenn erwünscht. Um Privatsphäre und Anonymität zu 
gewährleisten, sollten möglichst wenig Informationen über Nutzerinnen und 
Nutzer gespeichert werden. Internet Protokoll Adressen (IP) von Nutzerinnen 
und Nutzern sollten nur gespeichert werden, um die Kontrolle des Servers (z.B. 
im Falle eine Angriffs) zu behalten. Falls das Speichern nötig ist, sollten 
Details des Speicherns öffentlich zugänglich gemacht werden, in denen die Dauer 
des Speicherns, welche Informationen gespeichert wurden und welche Aktionen 
als Resultet des Speicherns durchgeführt wurden, enthalten sind. 
Stellungnahmen von Kollektive zum Thema IP-Speicherung werden ausdrücklich 
begrüßt.
