The Oceania Indymedia Newsreal compiles short, critical films focussing 
on social and environmental issues in the Asia-Pacific region. Bringing 
together stories from independent producers and community media 
collectives the Oceania Newsreal is distributed on VCD and online via 
the website.

The newsreal aims to encourage content sharing between regional 
Indymeida centres and video collectives, community TV and independent 
video producers. Likewise the online component allows works to be 
distributed easily across the globe and for people to download and 
screen them in their local area. The films are distributed under the 
creative commons license. http://creativecommons.org

We are now looking for content for our 3rd edition. If you have a piece 
you think might fit the bill and you want to see it more widely 
distributed then send it in.
