We , the teachers of the Division of Biliran are victims of loan sharks that left us a net take home pay of only three thousand pesos. To make things worst, there are supervisors and division personnel who are in connivance with private lenders outside, they hold the teachers checks and let them sign the payroll without seeing them, the teachers will go to the lenders house and there   and they will  endorse the check and the teachers are given a change of three hundred pesos only and take note this is the monthly change of the teachers from 1980's.this has been the practice since then. The Division and district supervisors have also commision maybe , 3 percent from the lenders.
 
In this connection, please help us organize ACT- Biliran Chapter so because we are afraid that if we will lead we might be persecuted. Please help us! RESCUE us from those profit- hungry beasts. Please help us stop this malpractice.
