Sanibonani IMC Africa.
It is wonderful to see the ammount of activity on this list and thank you for
all the contributions. To the delegates who sent final lists for Durban IMC
converegence this has been most helpful. We hope our brothers and sisters in the
Nigeria delegation are able to reach a compromise and send a united delegation
to Durban.
There is not much to report since we are awaiting final sponsorship proposal so
we can send it to as many places as possible. Meanwhile the C17 group organising
the Civil society forum at COP17 met in Durban for a national consultation with
participant groups from accross SA and the region. We made an input to inform
the group of the IMC plans for December especially our Kulture program. So it is
good to read brother Alex's inputs.
Brother Russell was asking important questions about the arrangements for Dead
Prez; i was unable to respond directly save to say the following:
- exact dates: we have siad anytime between Nov 25 and Dec 12 2011- Dec 03 is
the global day of action which ends with a Kulture festival at the beach front
after a long march through Durban CBD ( consider revising the total length of
the IMC Convergence- it is too long maybe it may be good to end on Dec 05 2011?)
- hotel> They could stay at the IMC building on the beach frontnoted earlier
with their designated apartment or maybe a hotel is more suitable?
- Artists can travel along with the NYC/Phylly comrades? or do they prefere to
travel separately?
I suggest the Kulture collective build a program and delegate us with specific
tasks.
Ok. we continue talking and thinking together.

Sanibonani IMC Afrique.
