Dear Sir / Madam,

My name is Zoe Wight and I am working in the art department at STV on a new
production of "Rebus" (by Ian Rankin). I hope you don't mind me contacting
you - I got your details from the internet, and I was wondering if you could
help me.

One of the books we are dramatising is "Fleshmarket Close", and there is a
scene outside a detention centre where a woman is protesting against the
holding of detainees. We are needing some placards, signs, tapestries, etc.
for this scene, and were wondering if we could possibly borrow (or hire)
some from you, if you have anything suitable? We would like to give as fair
and realistic a representation as possible.

The only type of thing we would not want would be anything with, for
example, the names of actual detention centres on it, as "Rebus" alludes to
a fictional detention centre. But anything else might work fine.

Please ignore this email if you don't have anything suitable, but here are
my contact details in case you can help:

Yours sincerely,
