I haven't gotten any blocks or possible conflicts over the 17th. Please
speak now or forever hold your peace :) I can still change the booking
but need to know soon before
I'll work on a flyer over the weekend and I suggest we meet up - say
Tuesday at the Forest Cafe arond 8:00 or so, and get ready to put the
flyer up.
Anyways, I booked the uptairs from 7:30-9:30 in Forest Cafe and
downstairs from 5-8:00. I figure what we could do is show a short film
(preferably one about Indymedia itself - is there such a film? - I was
thinking we could show some mix of "Revolution OS" and "Indymedia G8
footage") from 6 onwards to get people interested and allow us to have
dinner together if we want, and then have a public meeting from 7:30
onwards about the general direction of Indymedia, the website, and - of
course! - the space downtairs in the Forest Cafe. If there is interest
afterwards, we can then show people how to use the website etc. down in
the basement.
So tell me if you want any big changes, otherwise I'll send the text of
the proposed flyer out over the list-serv tomorrow...
