[imc-scotland-discussion] meetings

I think a meeting - or better regular meetings - would be an excellent
initiative. As well as the technical aspects I think it would be good to
discuss how we can improve the coverage and range of articles. Also we
could produce some wee flyers to leave on buses etc to publicise the site?
Could be done cheap if photocopied at ACE.

Congratulations to Makno , Chris and others who have been doing so much good
work recently. Unfortunately other commitments mean i am not able to write
many articles these days, but i think indy scot is v important and has a lot
of potential.

Maybe one way to increase involvement would be to have a rotating editorial
team, whereby 2 or 3 people have responsibility for say one week for
writing and soliciting new features? Personally i would find that a lot
easier, if i knew i had responsibility for doing some articles say one week
out of six or so. Of course there would be absolutely nothing to stop folk
writing stuff when it wasnt their "turn" - quite the contrary!

cheers mike, edinburgh

ps i would also be keen to see the rebirth of INC indymedia news-sheet,
though i think that would need quite a sizeable committed group, as it would
need to involve financing the news-sheet too.
