[imc-scotland-discussion] nazi comments hidden

Well, sorry if the last sentence came over wrong - what I mean to say is
that because in Britain the BNP and NF and in general the rascist groups
are actually very lame in comparison to Europe it actually makes it
possible for you to discuss with them without getting killed, unlike e.g.
in Eastern Europe, where you are much more likely to get hurt.

Personally I am really happy that there isn't such an escalated situation
yet in Britain as is on the continent. I do think only people in Britain
and the US are actually so liberally minded as to give these rascists a
platform for their ideas, because of the free speech philosophy.

Somehow it doesn't make any sense to me that someone would oppose these
guys having a stall in Glasgow pedestrian zone and at the same time allow
their comments on our indymedia site. If you want to research their way of
discussion, there are enough books, films, videos, academic publications
and even websites available where you can inform yourself without bringing
a whole collective in disrepute.

We also have got a lot of mainstream people coming over from the Edinburgh
Evening News now for the mung bean controversy, how would it look to any
new readers if we allow rascist and BNP comments on the site? What
impresion would that make to ethnic minorities, who are very disinvolved
in any autonomist/anarchist politics anyways?
