Hello,

As some of you know I've been working on an improved version of the site
using the open source CMS 'drupal' (http://drupal.org). Some of the nice
features it can provide are word-processor-style article editing,
greater ease of use than dadaimc, flash video modules, etc. Drupal is
widely used and has a very active development community - which means
the burden of maintaining the system doesn't fall entirely on us.

I've set up a demonstration site at http://infoseed.co.uk

If people create accounts I can make them editors and then they can play
with the editor interface, which I wrote myself because what was
available was clunky and unintuitive. The total amount of custom code
we'd have to maintain is tiny.

I am able to import dada databases, which will be necessary supposing
people thought this new CMS was worth switching to.

This site has a partial list of IMCs using drupal:

comments, suggestions, bug-reports, etc welcome
