Below are the minutes of the Indymedia Scotland meeting of 26th Feb 2008

Present: Tom, Mike, Jon
*Legacy Site*
- - Agreement that it is better not to be linked to on the IMC-uk site.
- - Removal approved
- - Agreement that there could be a link to it on our site.
*Paypal*
- - Set up paypal or equivalent system for getting donations, agreed
- - Tom to ask Ulla and Micah to make bank account available, add
signatories.
- - Tom to take responsibility for sorting out the paypal or equivalent.
- - If the current account proves to be difficult and time-consuming to
access, we agreed that a new one should be set up, with a bank in
Edinburgh.
*Newspaper*
- - Generally the newspaper was thought to be very good and worthwhile,
and Tom and Jon are mandated to continue its production.
- - Mike to contribute for Chiapas and Claimants.
/style+content/
- - capitals for the first word, agreed.
- - box for additional info on topics of interest, agreed.
- - first paragraph of an article to not be indented, agreed.
/Printing/
- - mike to ask tommy from clydeside press for quote.
- - mike to ask ACE for paper, and quote for printing.
/Distribution/
- - all agreed to make inquiries with community centres
- - Mike to make a list of places that would accept the paper
- - Agreed to have a distribution planning meeting, date not set.
- - agreed to ask for help with articles and distribution
*New Drupal-based Website*
- - Site looked at by all members, and agreed to be good and worthwhile
- - Agreed that it would help get more people using the site, since it was
easier to use.
- - Tom mandated to continue!
*Involvement of other groups and cities*
- - Agreed that we need to distribute newspaper to other groups in
Edinburgh, and to other Scottish Cities, and that this would help
encourage involvement.
- - New drupal website was also agreed to be useful, since it is easier to
use.
- - Jon to encourage Glasgow and Aberdeen use.
