Graham was a driver killed at his work in Glasgow due to appalling lack
of health and safety by the companies involved.
would be good if people could attend the FAI, and also try and write up
something for indymedia scotland, has been a couple of articles so far
but we havent really covered the info that has emerged in the fai yet
even better if someone had time to phone up the companies involved and
question them, might give them a bit of a scare...

Hi all, this is just a plea for assistance, as you are probably aware
the f.a.i. for Graham is continuing at Glasgow Sheriff court and we have
been there every day. we are being overwhelmed by the evidence we are
hearing and also by the numbers of company bosses in court every day.
For weeks on end we have heard manager after manager using the stock
phrase, i dont remember, i dont know, their arrogance and cavalier
attitude delivering blows day after day. Some very brave workers are
telling it as it is and i am ever grateful, note i said is and not was.
Ive not been able to keep up contact with people, keeping people up to
date with whats happening due to the sheer exhaustion, I am surviving, I
do turn up every day as does Graham's elderly parents but it is taking
its toll. The boss of the driving agency who had sold up his business
and dissappeared and couldnt give edidence has been tracked down!!! due
to a slip up by a manager during his evidence when he cheerully told us
theat tnt and allied still use Suziline but theyve changed their name
now but its still Val Brown that owns it. well he has been cited and he
has to give evidence some time this Friday the 13th. This email is a
plea, please come and support us, we need friendly faces. I am also due
to give evidence probably Monday, maybe Tuesday of next week, any
support is appreciated. This journey I and others like me is on is
traumatic, difficult, painful, frustrating and very very lonely but it
is not shameful and knowing that I walk into that court everyday with my
head up. The cut of their suits does not frighten me, When I have to
watch them giving witnesses "who do well", who dont remember the thumbs
up, when they look straight into my eyes, when they slap each others
backs, when they parade about outside the court with their phones, i
remember the others, those who die for profit and the families left to
pick up the peices and I rtake another deep breath and start again.Ive
listed times/wherabouts etc at the bottom of this , please pass the
word, in solidarity, karen
FRIDAY 13TH 10AM- 1PM 2PM - 4PM
MONDAY 16TH 10AM - 1PM 2PM- 4PM
COURT 6
(YOU DONT NEED TO BE ON TIME, JUST POP IN AND OUT)
