[imc-scotland-discussion] Request to remove comments from article

Hi,

very interesting issue. Pity the site is password protected, it would have 
been much more enlightening if Alex Cabb would have done a copy and paste of 
the article ;-) 

Therefore it doesn't seem that much information would be lost if the comment 
is hidden or not, either way, it doesn't seem to be a big issue.

As for involving the Metropolitan Computer Crime Unit thingy, that's quite 
ridiculous, isn't it?

Anyways, what would you like to do about it? I don't care either way. 
We could just leave it up and see whats happening or hide it out of 
politeness. 
I don't think the comment is worth much hassle though, as long as we can't 
actually see the article on the MOD website :-(

I do agree though that we should have made the original article a feature. 
Maybe we should do it just now as a glimpse of late enlightenment.

Anyways, on Indy Uk there are always a lot of complaints trying it on. Usually 
nothing is ever heard from them again. In the case of activists we usually 
try to fulfill requests if they are reasonable and concern themselves, or 
postings by themselves or mention full names in a context we can't legally 
prove or so.

I don't even think we would legally under publishing law have to remove the 
comment mentioned below.
