The current system is tied closely to the moderation of articles. It
isn't a general voting system. That is fine, since I wrote a voting
module more flexible than the drupal poll module myself after the RSS
feed work. Also the article voting way only enfranchises editors not
contributors.
I am in favour of allowing all users to vote in polls providing they
have written an article that survived moderation in the last year.
Perhaps the first poll should be a referendum on polling contributors to
decide stuff vs remaining with the current decision-making process
(which is?).

Yeah those noflag.org.uk anarcho-geeks sure are cranking up the
electronic revolution. What a diamond bunch of geezers and geezerettes.
We will have to consider carefully. Indymedia UK have had problems with
their servers being physically seized because they are located in the UK
(I think). Greece is safer in that respect.
