Hi
A couple of things have been suggested to me as improvements of the
website. I'm forwarding them here for discussion. One is a slight usability
enhancement, the other is a bit bigger.
*A suggestion for the Publish Article form*
When it comes to Attachments, some confusion was found. A desire to make
publishing multiple photos easier was expressed.
Suggested solution was the ability to add extra "Upload file" entries, so
these could be uploaded as a group instead of waiting as currently.
For example having a "Select number of items to upload" drop-down menu, or
an "Add another item" button (though this 2nd has potential to confuse with
"upload", IMO)
*Add Forum functionality*
I'll just cut & paste this one:
> I have wanted for a while now for their to be a dedicated web forum for Scotttish anarchists and activists, as you know I'm surre, and it came to me the other day that IM is probably the best suited place for such a thing.
> The site is built on Drupal which has the functionality and is pretty neutral when it comes to the different 'sides' of activism in Scotland.
> I was considering trying to set one up under the AF Scotland banner but IM would be far better.
> I think having a forum functionality could markedly increase the amount of traffic on the site and would help it become even more of a resource for community and workplace activists in Scotland.
> Now I have fuck all technical know-how when it comes to this sort of thing so couldn't help with constructing it. I would however be more than happy to act as one of a group of moderators on a forum.
