[imc-scotland-discussion] Hiding vs Deleting articles/comments/events

Hello people,

I would suggest that we adopt a policy of *deleting* spam rather than
hiding it, as hidden content is still served (can be found by google,
etc). This might be bad for site ranking (i am not a search engine
optimisation specialist...), and in any case is a waste of resources.

We can of course continue hiding stuff that falls foul of the editorial
guidelines or is contrary to our libertarian lefty bias, or is just crap.
