[imc-scotland-discussion] indymedia meeting, Friday, 6th of November, 7pm at Forest Action Room

Hia,

it would be good if everybody could come to the indymedia scotland meeting on 
Friday, 6th of November 7pm at the Forest Action Room to discuss Indymedia at 
NATO.

However, it would also be really cool if somebody could go up to St.Andrews 
for Friday and Saturday to report on what's happening there with the G20 and 
the protests and counter summit against it.

Oh, and thanks to Appollon from edlug who has made a start on getting the 
computers in the action room working again. (Now 2 are working).

Also, it would be good if we could put in a work day on Thursday 12th to get 
the action room ready as an imc, I will try to hang around there all day. 

My main concern is that the imc needs to be covered by a reliable volunteer on 
Friday morning till 5pm in the afternoon and the same timing on Saturday - 
maybe even a bit earlier. All that people would need to do is keep the door 
open and prevent people from running off with some computers or anything. And 
maybe chat with people a little bit about indymedia, show them if necessary 
how to post on the website and try to persuade people to get off the computers 
after a while if they are staying too long on these and if there would be a 
queue. 

If we could be running a dispatch or a timeline that would be great but we 
would need a phone number as well for it and at least another volunteer.
