[Imc-sd-translation] an idea for indigenous people's day

i would like to broadcast the audio from the Encuentros that the
zapatistas have been having to develop The Other Campaign on Monday
October 10th, which is indigenous people's day, aka columbus day.

are people cool with that? it's mostly speeches, and its probably 98% en
español. would anyone be interested in recording some translations of a
small bit of it, or doing some live translation that day? i'll be at
work all day, so i'd need someone's help to get into the studio for live
translation and discussion.

but, it's really, really special that we have this audio because i got
it straight from a media collective in San Cristobal. its not even on
chiapas indymedia yet.

i have 2 gigs of mp3s, so it would probably take all day. i'd be happy
to stop it for people's shows.

also, if anyone wants to talk to me on the air about my trip, i'd love
to keep on sharing my stories. maybe that monday is a good day to do so.
