Hi

I'm interested in starting recording interesting political
meeting in Sheffield and there are quite a few coming up
-- see the events box.

I have done a load of reaseach into recorders and the best
one seems to be the Roland R09, it can record as mp3 onto
SD cards and it is a USB mass storage device so it'll work
with Linux with no problem.

There is a review here:

A friend of mine has one and I have had a play with it.

It costs £260-£270:

I guess the bank account has enough in it since we haven't
really done anything for a year...

What do people think?

Chris
