Sounds like a top end machine but not sure why we'd want that. I was
looking at MP3 recorders recently in Curry's and I think you can pick
them up for about £20 now. Add say another £50 for a decent mike and
you've saved a lot of money.

But I guess it depends on how much it gets used and what it's used for
in the end. I read you only need 128kbps for CD quality - and that's
for music quality. And if recordings are for over the internet then
64kbps in mono would probably be more appropriate.

However if you can borrow them for free then why not.
