[imc-sheffield] Questions about citizen journalism & independant reporting

Hello,

I was hoping you could help me. I have followed Indymedia for a number of years now and find it very interesting and for me, it is the first website I have come across to promote and report independant reporting and citizen journalism.

I am a final year student studying Multi-Media Journalism at Bournemouth University and currently preparing my dissertation. It is about the rise of citizen journalism, how it is surfacing as a very important tool and how integral and revolutionary it could be to news reporting in the future. 

I was hoping I could ask you a few questions about Indymedia, about your views and how it important it is to have indepandant news websites such as yours. I understand that someone in your position must have a very busy schedule, but if you could spare 20 to 30 minutes it would be hugely appreciated.
