[imc-sheffield] Sheffield Meetings?

Hey I have been living in Sheffield for just over a year now, I am a 2nd year journalism student at 
Sheffield Hallam and have been looking for a while now to see if there are any "alternative-media"
based magazines or newspapers who would take me on to write for them. I'm really just after any experience
I can get but am fed up of having to write things for my course which really dont interest me. I'm wondering
if there is actually still anyone in Sheffield involved with Indymedia as it is exactly the kind of news which I 
would be interested about participating in.
I know that the meetings are no longer held at the Matilda as I used to live just near it last year and it 
certainly looks very shut. If people are still meeting somewhere in the city though then I'd love to get involved.
If they aren't meeting, why not?! Sheffield is such an amazingly diverse city and I reckon I know loads of people
who would be well up for getting involved in something like this.
