[imc-sheffield] Indymedia Northern England

Hi

An application to set up a new Northern England Indymedia site was
formally submitted today [1], my understanding of "the north" is broadly
"as the area (from coast to coast) surrounding the Pennines" [2] and I
think most people would assume that Liverpool, Manchester and Sheffield
were all "Northern" cities.

So... we are within the area of this new Indymedia, though the
application to set it up contains, "we seek to compliment and not
replace the existing city based imc’s in the region".

If people want to get invloved with this new site then there is a new
