I'm looking for someone to cover my event in KC. Do
you know how I can contact someone at indymedia?

Hello,

I am hosting a Slam Bush MC Battle/Poetry Slam in
Kansas City, Missouri on September 5. It is part of a
national competition that will take place on September
29 in Miami. All the details about Slam Bush can be
found at www.slambush.net. I am required to video
record the event and send in the winning moment to
slambush.net immediately after the event. The powers
that be at SlamBush.net have suggested I contact
indymedia.org and see if you have anyone that would be
interested in volunteering to record this event,
preferably with Mini DV. And slambush.net implied that
they might even cover some expenses of the volunteer.
Slam Bush will be a high profile event both locally
and nationally and this would be a great way for the
volunteer to get some exposure. The video I send in
will be viewed by hip-hop celebrities Chuck D, Davey
D, Supernatural, Wordsworth, MEDUSA, Will Da Real One,
Soulflower, Scratch and Joshua "Fahiym" Ratcliffe.
Plus, the video will be put on the website I believe.

Please let me know if anyone would be interested in
covering this event for me or let me know who I need
to contact for this request.
