[imc-st.louis] SAVE STLIMC! FUND-DRIVE

Okay, so if you have been watching the list, stlimc needs an emergency $400.  Here's why:

The St. Louis IMC server was being hosted for free at a local company who is now moving and not wanting to host us. Our tech people have been working to find a space that will/can host us but we need a 1U rack unit/server and the cost will be $300 - $500. We are looking at the Seattle Community Colocation Project( http://seaccp.org/ ) along with a few other options.

There are already two actions underway to solve this problem.  One is an impromptu SAVE IMC party this next wednesday for $5 (all the hot cocoa you can drink).  It will be at CAMP.  Email Anna Roland at list(at)annaroland.com for more info or just come on by that evening (that's the 29th)!  

The second action is a fund drive for $200 on the pay pal account.  i have made a nifty graphic to put up to encourag people to send in money.  I have attached it here for folksies to look at.  any suggestions/ideas.  

So, what can you do?  Donate $10 online to save imc!  Plus attend the stlimc / influx meeting on sunday, january 2nd.  stlimc meeting at 7pm, influx at 8pm.  ENJOY THE HO-HO-HO DAYS!  Also email the list for comments!
