hosting:
Peter versus seaccp:
It looks like the price point in Seattle is more or less the same as with
Peter. We have been throught the advantages and disadvantages of both. I
dont really care which. If either was really any cheaper there would be a
clear winner.

hardware:
I think the 1U netfinity is a go, it has a hardware raid controller this
should be easy to set up with 2 36gb drives, in raid level 1 (mirrored).
It will look like a single drive to the OS , but if one fails, you just
have to go in and pop another in to start mirroring when you get a chance.
No down time, no lost data. Before anyone orders drives for this thing i
think it is important to see what flavor of scsi the raid card is and what
form factor the drives need to be.

DNS:
lets change the authorativite name server for at least stlcamp.org and
stlimc.org to everydns.org.
this will make configuration simple and transparent in the future and we
will not have to maintain a server ourselves.
