WEB DESIGN UPDATE:

so tom called the other day and talked about the server.  he said he could install sf-active [ http://sfactive.indymedia.org/ ], instead of mir, like, right that moment.  we compared what we wanted from mir, like the split newswire, with sf-active, and they both had what we wanted.  really, only those really really really involved with imc based programs and do a lot of rss feeds and stuff can really tell the difference between teh two programs.  we can always upgrade to mir later, if we choose.  but we decided to load sf-active on the new server and try to get that running.

but this means we need a new look for imc.  any ideas?  justin and gina,  volunteer :) to do some graphic work for us but it has to be done sooner than later, i guess it's easier that way.  anyhoo - if you have any suggestions please email the list asap.  also - if you like, or dislike, a specific calendar, feature, or banner of an imc let the list know.  for instance, i really like the look of http://www.indybay.org/   i like their calendar look too.

okay - i think that is all - thanks for listening and everyone thank justin and gina.  they will propose a look for us soon :)
