[V-Day]

I wanted to send you information about a show that is coming to St. 
Louis and hope that you will share it with other interested friends, 
colleagues, and members of your organization.  Eve Ensler, author of  
"The Vagina Monologues" will be in St. Louis from January 3rd to 8th 
with her new show, "The Good Body" where she will be performing at the 
Edison Theatre.  I had a chance to see the show in New York City on 
Broadway where I was blown away by the issues that she delves into and 
I left feeling quite inspired by her words and the words of those she 
interviewed.

We would love it if you would pass along the info to friends that are 
in or close to the cities Eve will be visiting which would be huge help 
to the show and V-Day.  A portion of the ticket sales will be 
benefiting V-Day (www.vday.org), which will get us a few steps closer

EVE ENSLER TO TOUR HER NEW SHOW - ‘THE GOOD BODY’

Eve plans to explore and expose even more when she tours North America 
in her new play.  From October through April she will play 20 cities!

In THE GOOD BODY she takes an inside look at the outside, exploring the 
cultures of beauty, food and desire through the eyes of women around 
the world. This provocative, hilarious, and profoundly moving show 
promises to be no less extraordinary than Eve’s previous triumph, The 
Vagina Monologues, which inspired a worldwide revolution.  A portion of 
proceeds from the tour will be benefit V-Day, the global movement to 
end violence against women and girls that Eve founded.

 We are writing to ask if you’d like to VOLUNTEER YOUR V-EXPERIENCE!! 

   There will be V-tables in the lobby of each theater along the tour.  
These tables will contain literature about V-Day and information on how 
to get involved with the organization. Distributing information, 
answering questions, and guiding audience members in ways to get 
involved is an integral part of V-Day’s campaign to end violence 
against women and girls and a way for us to build up our database of 
interested activists.  This is a very important and sensitive job, and 
requires the help of dedicated and responsible activists.  We are 
looking for volunteers to arrive at the theatre an hour before the show 
and stay a half hour after (3 hour time commitment).   We are working 
on getting complimentary tickets for volunteers in each city Eve visits 
as a thank you for your hard work.  Please contact us if you are
