How is the City of St. Louis spending lead money?

Is it spending money on lead or rehab projects for friends of the Mayor? Is
the most lead money going to neighborhoods with the highest levels of
childhood lead poisoning? Is the City using lead money to prevent children from being
poisoned?

The only way to find out is to ask them. For years, the City of St. Louis
has refused to provide information on how it is spending lead money. Now, we
need individuals and organizations to join us in asking the hard questions. All
it takes is coming to the Greens' office for a few minutes to e-mail a
letter.

Come any time between 3:00 and 8:00 pm on

Wednesday, September 20, 2006

at the CAMP Building

3026 Cherokee (2nd floor, enter on Minnesota side)

You can write your own letter, use one of the letters already written, or
modify a pre-written letter.

We have lots of pesto left over from the Pesto Feast and bread donated by
Black Bear Bakery. Have a bite or two or three to eat after sending your e-mail.

Call 314-727-8554 to have someone speak to your organization about lead
issues in the City of St. Louis.

See you Wednesday.
