   Hey PINKS!

I'm back from an Amazing summer spent at the CODEPINK House in DC 
working for peace on Capitol Hill; I organized Peace Art Workshops, 
coordinated prop making for people from all across the world, and was 
privledged to be one of the very few visible peace groups working the 
Hill for peace. I learned SO MUCH, met the MOST passionate people in the 
resistance, and realized that I could do so much more for peace (than I 
had been doing)- since I made myself available. Below are links to

forward to sharing some stories about DC when we meet-

Wednesday-August 15th, 7:00PM:
A RARE MEET UP: with CODEPINK's: Laurie Meier-St. Louis and Midge 
Potts-DC, following either the VFP conference or our bridge bannering in 
Soulard!!! We'll all meet at The Shanti- to talk about the peace 
movement today, hear of specific actions- past and future, and learn 
some fun songs! (The Shanti is located at 825 Allen Avenue St.Louis, MO

Wednesday-Sunday- August 15th-19th:
Veterans for Peace Annual Conference- Help cover shifts at CODEPINK's 
info table. You'll get a chance to visit with CODEPINK's Laurie or Midge 
and possibly attend some of the conference sessions between tabling shifts.

Sunday-August 19th, 10:30AM:
"March Through the Arch" - march route starting downtown in front of the 
Holiday Inn Select. Will need PINKs for Radical Cheerleading!!: )  The 
event is  organized by Military Families Speak out- and loads of peace 
groups will be present.

Friday-Sunday evenings - September 14th-16th:
Taking a van to Washington DC- and staying at the CODEPINK House for a 
Sept 15th rally?need to solidify your spot ASAP- so CALL NOW!
