Pruning Workshop @ Centennial Farm on Sat., Feb 24th and
Visit to the Buddhist Temple in Augusta, MO on Sunday, Feb. 25th.
Time: CARPOOL leaving early Saturday. We can all meet at CAMP and leave from
there. Need to know who all will be driving and we can all pitch in for gas.
Plus if folks have hand pruners, loppers, or hand saws it would be awesome
if we could bring them to do the pruning at Centennial Farm with Gretchen.
Matt is playing a dance that night at a spot about 40 minutes away that we
could all
go to, it does cost. There is a potluck beforehand.
Don't forget to bring your sleeping bags to bed down at Matt & Gretchen's
new house that evening.
Need to know who all is going so we can plan for breakfast. I will be making
a run out to Trader Joe's etc..... to pick-up food. ;) Anybody wants to
go...give uncle parys a call at 314-306-1001.
Sunday, Feb 25th, we are invited to practice with the monks. Mid-American
Buddhist Association, located at 299 Heger Lane. MABA occupies 61 acres of
land in Augusta, overlooking scenic
hills. The Sunday schedule starts 10am with sessions of sitting and walking
meditation along with a dharma talk. A vegetarian potluck follows at
11:45am.
