Confluence wishes to have a meeting next week to discuss printing an issue
on police violence by the end of this month. Details on the meeting
below. I've suggested from time to time the prospect of merging
Confluence editorial operations with those of STLIMC, in particular
because the 2 entities already share content on a regular basis, not to
mention physical resources at CAMP. Also, Confluence could benefit from a
more interactive online presence (e.g. ability to host reader comments),
and STLIMC could benefit from a more active editorial process.

At any rate, I'm proposing this topic on stlimc's listserves in hopes of
starting discussion. Is some sort of non-casual merger b/w Confluence and
IMc a good idea? Specific reasons why it would not be good idea?
