[imc-st.louis] Imc-stlouis Digest, Vol 53, Issue 2

Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't been active yet, but I want to get involved. I am not
sure if you have heard, but the Instead of War Coalition in St. Louis is
doing an encampment outside of Claire McCaskill's office from the 16 to 21
of September. The point is to unite the St. Louis community through art,
media, dance, music, speakers, education, etc. A tentative slogan is : Days
of Decision Watch: Fund our Communities, Defund the War.
Adam Shriver, other members of IOW, and I have been discussing how we can
best cover this event. An idea arose of covering the events of each day in a
daily bulletin that we would potentially be able to send out as an email
(with a summary of events, pictures, maybe video) or that we could post on
the IMC website. This would allow people to see what is happening and
hopefully encourage people to become involved the next day.
Do you think this is possible? I hope we can get involved in this as StL
IMC because it is something that has potential to do a lot of good work by
bringing in people from diverse groups/communities in the St. Louis area.
